Dr Reuben Leo Walker

Dr Reuben Leo Walker is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages. With a holistic approach to healthcare, he is committed to understanding each patient's unique physical and mental well-being. Dr Walker believes in fostering strong, collaborative relationships with his patients, ensuring they feel supported and informed throughout their healthcare journey.

Dr Walker began his academic journey by completing degrees in psychology and philosophy, which provided him with a deep understanding of human behaviour and ethics. He then pursued his medical education, earning his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Queensland. Following his graduation, he completed his internship at a base hospital, gaining valuable experience in internal medicine, psychiatry, and emergency care. He further broadened his clinical perspective by working in a remote hospital in South Africa and in various clinics across Darwin, Christmas Island, and Nauru. Dr Walker completed his formal General Practitioner training in northern New South Wales, during which he also obtained a Diploma of Dermatology.

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Walker is highly experienced in managing a wide range of medical conditions. He has a particular interest in mental health support, men's health, and chronic disease management. Additionally, his clinical expertise extends to paediatrics, palliative care, geriatric care, and cardiology. His additional qualification in dermatology allows him to confidently address various skin concerns, offering comprehensive skin checks and management plans to his patients.
