Dr Renée Bittar

Dr Renée Bittar is a Clinical Psychologist and the Managing Director of Precision Health where she plays a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's direction and growth. As a Psychologist, Dr Bittar's interests span a wide range of psychological issues and life difficulties, including depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, stress, personality disorders, emotion regulation problems, and adjustment difficulties.

With extensive clinical training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) at The Melbourne Clinic, Dr Bittar is passionate about utilising DBT principles and strategies to enhance the quality of life for individuals and groups in the workplace. She focuses on improving interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, attention control, and distress tolerance.

Dr Bittar holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Psychology, as well as a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Her research thesis centred around subjective wellbeing, quality of life, and depression. As a result, she has a special interest in Positive Psychology and is driven to restore optimal levels of personal well-being for her patients.

Beyond her expertise in psychology, Dr Bittar has senior management experience in the health and fitness industry, which significantly influences her passion for both physical and emotional wellbeing. Under her leadership, Precision Health has evolved from a single-specialty, traditional medical model to an integrated, multidisciplinary organisation on a steep and exciting growth trajectory.

Dr Bittar's current focus centres on ensuring that Precision Brain, Spine, and Pain Centre continues to expand its ability to provide much-needed brain, spine, and pain management services to the community. Her vision is to establish the centre as the premier outpatient pain program in the Southern Hemisphere, serving as a leading beacon of comprehensive and compassionate care for patients in need.
