Dr Rekha Kumar is a dedicated and highly experienced General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care to individuals and families. With a broad clinical background spanning multiple medical disciplines, she is passionate about helping her patients achieve and maintain optimal health. Dr Kumar adopts a holistic approach to modern medicine, combining evidence-based clinical practices with a strong belief in nutritional medicine to support long-term wellbeing.

Dr Kumar obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) alongside a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.). She is a distinguished Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting her commitment to the highest standards of family medicine. Throughout her career, she has also contributed to the medical community by supervising and training numerous General Practice Registrars. Her diverse professional background includes serving in the Australian Navy and working across various hospitals, which has provided her with a deep and versatile clinical foundation.

In addition to general family medicine, Dr Kumar has developed extensive expertise in several key areas of healthcare. She has a strong interest in skin and cosmetic medicine, offering skin cancer checks, minor surgical procedures, and cosmetic treatments. Her clinical focus also encompasses women's health, including family planning and the insertion and removal of Implanon and Mirena contraceptive devices. Furthermore, she provides specialised care in paediatrics, weight management, and psychiatry, ensuring that patients of all ages receive tailored, compassionate support for both their physical and mental health.
