Dr Rebecca Conroy

Dr Rebecca Conroy is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is deeply passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centred care. She enjoys treating a wide range of conditions in patients of all ages, adopting a holistic approach to family medicine. With a warm and reassuring manner, Dr Conroy focuses on building strong, collaborative relationships with her patients to support their long-term health and well-being.

With a diverse clinical background, Dr Conroy has developed a strong interest in women's health, children's health, and preventative medicine. She is a highly skilled GP Obstetrician with a particular interest in managing high-risk pregnancies and providing comprehensive family planning support. Her clinical expertise also extends to chronic disease management, skin disorders, skin checks, and LGBTQIA+ healthcare, ensuring that every patient receives tailored and inclusive medical attention.

Dr Conroy completed her medical studies at James Cook University, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2006. Following her graduation, she spent several years working in remote communities across far North Queensland before pursuing advanced training. She holds an Advanced Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG Adv). Dr Conroy is a Fellow of both the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM), and she holds a Fellowship in Advanced Rural General Practice (FARGP).
