Dr Raymond Stanton

Dr Raymond Stanton is a highly experienced Urologist providing comprehensive care for a broad range of general urological conditions. He has proudly delivered elective and emergency on-call services to his community for over fifteen years, significantly advancing access to high-quality specialist care.

He completed his specialist urology training in New South Wales across major Australian metropolitan centres before undertaking a subspecialty fellowship in Edinburgh, Scotland, where he acquired advanced skills in open and laparoscopic urological oncological techniques. Throughout his career, Dr Stanton has been at the forefront of modernising urological services, introducing key technical advancements to his practice including laser prostate surgery, transperineal prostate biopsies, and endourological procedures. He maintains a strong clinical focus on managing prostate, bladder, and renal cancers, as well as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and complex voiding dysfunction.

Beyond his regional commitments, Dr Stanton maintains a conjoint appointment at the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse in Sydney where he offers state-of-the-art robotic surgical procedures to his patients. He is also deeply committed to medical education, serving as a Senior Lecturer training medical students across the University of New South Wales, the Australian National University, and the University of Notre Dame.
