Dr Ravi Rawlley

Dr Ravi Rawlley is a dedicated General Adult Psychiatrist who provides compassionate and comprehensive mental health care. He focuses on delivering structured psychiatric assessments, careful diagnostic clarification, and individualised management planning. Working within a respectful and collaborative therapeutic framework, Dr Rawlley supports patients facing a wide range of complex and chronic psychiatric conditions, helping them achieve stability and improve their overall quality of life.

His clinical interests span a broad spectrum of mental health challenges. Dr Rawlley has extensive experience in managing anxiety disorders, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and trauma-related presentations, as well as depressive disorders and treatment-resistant depression. He also focuses on bipolar spectrum disorders, psychotic disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as adult attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism spectrum disorders. Additionally, he is skilled in occupational psychiatry, addressing WorkCover and accidental injury presentations, and providing complex independent medico-legal reports.

Dr Rawlley completed his medical degree in 1995. He then undertook specialist psychiatric training in Wales, United Kingdom, where he obtained his Diploma in Psychological Medicine and achieved Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. After relocating to Australia in 2008, he attained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. He is a Fellow of this prestigious college and has worked extensively across acute care, rehabilitation psychiatry, substance misuse services, assertive outreach, and emergency mental health settings.
