Dr Raffat Attiq

Dr Raffat Attiq is a highly experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care to women in the Riverina region. With a deep passion for women's health, she supports patients through every stage of their reproductive journeys, from pre-conception planning to post-natal care. Dr Attiq is committed to delivering personalised care plans that prioritise patient comfort, safety, and peace of mind, ensuring that high-quality medical support is accessible to all women.

Dr Attiq obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Punjab in Pakistan. After gaining valuable clinical experience overseas, she relocated to Australia and completed her specialist training with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. To further enhance her expertise in women's health, she also earned a Master of Reproductive Health from the University of New South Wales in 2020. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Attiq is a prominent figure in medical education and leadership within the regional healthcare system. She serves as the Clinical Obstetric Lead at a major regional referral hospital, where she oversees high-risk pregnancy and diabetic clinics. Passionate about mentoring the next generation of medical professionals, she acts as a Training Supervisor for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in the Riverina region, works as a Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales Medical School, and provides obstetrics training to local General Practitioners.
