Dr Pui Lam Lau

Dr Pui Lam Lau, also known as Dr Patrick Lau, is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care. With a broad scope of practice, Dr Lau enjoys all aspects of family medicine, focusing on delivering comprehensive healthcare solutions tailored to the unique needs of each individual. His reassuring and professional approach ensures that patients of all ages feel supported and valued throughout their healthcare journey.

Dr Lau obtained his primary medical degree, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2004. Following his initial medical training, he completed his specialist General Practice training and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2010. Committed to continuous professional development, Dr Lau has also undertaken postgraduate studies to earn a Diploma of Child Health and a Diploma of Practical Dermatology, further enhancing his clinical expertise.

In his clinical practice, Dr Lau has developed key areas of interest, including chronic disease management, preventative medicine, travel medicine, and men's health. His additional qualifications allow him to offer specialised care in children's health and dermatology. Beyond his direct clinical work, Dr Lau is passionate about medical education and actively contributes to the profession by teaching medical students and junior doctors. Outside of his medical practice, he enjoys gardening, cycling, travelling, and spending quality time with his family.
