Dr Phyu Lwin

Dr Phyu Lwin is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. She believes that lifestyle factors play a significant role in an individual's overall health and well-being. With a focus on building strong, therapeutic relationships, Dr Lwin is committed to supporting her patients through every stage of their health journey, offering proactive guidance and personalised care.

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Lwin enjoys all aspects of General Practice. She has developed a particular clinical interest in women's and children's health, chronic disease management, and preventative healthcare. Her broad expertise also encompasses mental health support, travel medicine, immunisations, and refugee health. Additionally, she is skilled in practical procedures such as Implanon insertion and removal, as well as providing comprehensive pregnancy care.

Dr Lwin obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Medicine Mandalay, Myanmar, in 2006. After relocating to Australia, she earned her Australian Medical Council (AMC) Certificate in 2016 and went on to complete a Diploma of Child Health. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), a qualification she achieved in 2021, reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical care.

Outside of her clinical practice, Dr Lwin enjoys reading, gardening, travelling, and spending quality time with her family and friends. To ensure accessible care for a diverse patient population, she is pleased to offer consultations in both English and Burmese.
