Dr Philip McKenzie

Dr Philip McKenzie is a highly respected General Practitioner who has dedicated his career to providing comprehensive and compassionate healthcare. Throughout his professional journey, he has delivered high-quality medical care to patients of all ages, covering all facets of adult and paediatric general practice. His patient-centred approach and commitment to clinical excellence have made him a trusted figure in the medical community.

Dr McKenzie completed his medical training at the University of Melbourne, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 1988. Demonstrating his commitment to the highest standards of general practice, he was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1993. His extensive training and professional memberships have provided him with a robust foundation to address a diverse range of medical conditions.

With a broad scope of practice, Dr McKenzie has maintained a particular clinical interest in cardiology, alongside his dedication to family medicine and preventative care. After a long and distinguished career as a full-time General Practitioner, he retired from active practice in March 2026. Outside of his medical career, Dr McKenzie is passionate about travelling and sports of all kinds, and he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children.
