Gastroscopy

The anaesthetist was awful. First bashed the back of my hand to try and find a vein which hurt a lot. She was abrupt, rushed and pushy. No bedside manner. My hand hurt the whole time and I ended up with  big bruise that's fading now after 2 weeks. Absolutely unnecessary pain. So disappointing. 

Also I was put in a curtained off area where I was apparently lost and the nurses couldn't find me for ages,while I waited. I was still waiting 4 hours after being admitted. I ws fasting so hadn't had anything to eat or drink. I felt forgotten. Staff were pretty busy talking about their weekends and paying no attention to patients.

Bladder Cancer

After being diagnosed with bladder cancer at 80 years old, I thought that nothing could be done to save my life. Thankfully I was referred to Doctor Anojan Navaratnam who sent me for a lot of tests to see if I could possibly survive an operation to take my bladder out at my age. I passed all the tests so Dr. And  I decided to go ahead and have the operation by robotic technology which is a better outcome for the patient. 
I am very happy with the result of Dr. Navaratnam expertise, I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who finds themselves in my situation, as far as I am concerned he is the best.

Homi was absolutely amazing, his bedside manner is wonderful, he is happy to explain everything to you and makes you feel at ease and confident. My surgery went very well, my surgical wounds are healing really well. I am so very happy with how it has all worked out. I just don't have enough words to express how grateful I am to Homi for his kindness, care and most of all his amazing knowledge & surgical skill. I was so very fortunate to have had him as my Dr.
