Dr. Peter Hsu

Dr. Peter S. Hsu is a Paediatric Allergist and Immunologist with over a decade of experience in the diagnosis and management of allergic and immunological disorders in children. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine at the University of Melbourne in 2002, followed by specialist paediatric training and sub-specialty training in Allergy and Immunology at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, where he obtained his Fellowship in Paediatric Allergy and Immunology in 2013.

Dr. Hsu is a Staff Specialist in Paediatric Allergy and Immunology at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney. He leads the Severe Eczema Clinic and has particular expertise in paediatric allergic disease, immune dysregulation, and primary immune deficiencies. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Dr. Hsu provides culturally sensitive and comprehensive care to families from diverse backgrounds.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Hsu is an accomplished academic and researcher. He completed a PhD in immune tolerance in 2014 and continues to contribute to major research programs as an advisory member of the National Allergy Centre of Excellence (NACE) and an investigator for the Centre for Food Allergy Research (CFAR). He has published more than 40 papers in international peer-reviewed journals and regularly presents his work at national and international conferences.
