Dr Peter Bruce Kell

Dr Peter Bruce Kell is a dedicated and highly qualified General Practitioner and GP Obstetrician who is deeply committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care. With a strong focus on women's and children's health, he specialises in comprehensive antenatal and postnatal care, child delivery, and general family medicine. Dr Kell strongly advocates for a collaborative approach to maternity care, believing that the best outcomes for pregnant women are achieved when General Practitioners, Midwives, and Allied Health Professionals work together seamlessly.

Dr Kell obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Western Australia. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and holds an Advanced Diploma of the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG Adv.). Additionally, he has completed a Graduate Diploma in Rural General Practice and holds a Certificate in Clinician Performed Ultrasound (CCPU). His professional contributions include serving as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Notre Dame, acting as a GP-Obstetric representative for the Women and Children's Health Networks, and contributing to clinical governance as the Chair of an Obstetric Review Committee and a Member of a Medical Advisory Committee.

Before embarking on his medical career, Dr Kell worked as an electroplater and metallurgist, and also studied alternative medicine. This diverse background enriches his holistic approach to patient care. Guided by a deep desire to support his patients, he strives to practise with honesty, integrity, and empathy. Outside of his clinical responsibilities, Dr Kell enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends, and relaxing with a glass of his favourite wine.
