Dr Smith completed his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science and Research, majoring in Genetics and Cellular Biology and Biochemistry, at Deakin University. He then went on to complete his medical studies at Melbourne University, qualifying in 2009. Following his graduation, he completed his internship at a regional base hospital. In 2014, he achieved fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), demonstrating his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice.
