Associate Professor Paul Cashin completed his undergraduate studies at Monash University in 1984 and underwent General Surgery training at the Repatriation General Hospital, Heidelberg, obtaining his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in January 1997. He pursued further post-fellowship training as an Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeon in the United Kingdom and at Monash Health.
A/Prof Cashin currently serves as the Service Director of General Surgery at Monash Health, holding positions as Senior Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeon at Monash Health and Director of Medical Services at Jessie McPherson Private Hospital. Additionally, he holds the role of Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery in the Dept. of Surgery, Southern Clinical School, Monash University.
