Dr Nina Robertson

Dr Nina Robertson is a dedicated and highly qualified General Practitioner and Practice Owner who provides comprehensive primary healthcare to patients in Lismore, New South Wales. With a compassionate and patient-centred approach, she focuses on delivering high-quality medical care that addresses the diverse needs of individuals and families within the community. Dr Robertson is committed to fostering long-term, supportive relationships with her patients, ensuring they receive personalised and reassuring guidance throughout their healthcare journeys.

Beyond her daily clinical practice, Dr Robertson is a respected leader in the medical community, with a strong interest in medical education and disaster health management. She has served in several prominent leadership roles, including as a Board Director for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and as a representative on the clinical council of her local Primary Health Network. Her dedication to community resilience is further demonstrated by her active involvement in disaster health management, where she has contributed to research and advocacy to better integrate general practice into emergency response systems.

Dr Robertson began her academic journey by completing a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in ancient history, before a humanitarian volunteering experience in Mozambique inspired her to pursue a career in medicine. She subsequently earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and went on to complete her specialist general practice training, achieving Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Additionally, she holds a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CTEFLA) and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). She has also contributed significantly to registrar training, having previously served as a Director and Registrar Liaison Officer.
