Dr Nimalan Subramaniam

Dr Nimalan Subramaniam is a dedicated and highly qualified General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad clinical focus, he enjoys all aspects of general practice, helping patients manage their everyday health concerns as well as complex medical conditions. He is committed to delivering reassuring, evidence-based medical care to individuals and families, ensuring that each patient receives personalised attention tailored to their unique health needs.

With additional training and a deep interest in adult general medicine, Dr Subramaniam focuses on chronic disease management, preventative health, and geriatric medicine. He has a particular interest in heart disease management and prevention, having completed extensive postgraduate training in cardiology. His holistic approach to healthcare allows him to support patients through various stages of life, from managing acute illnesses to coordinating long-term care plans for elderly patients.

Dr Subramaniam completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland, having previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of British Columbia in Canada. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and holds membership with the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Subramaniam is actively involved in medical education, serving as a Medical Educator and Examiner for professional fellowship exams, and has held academic titles with multiple Australian university medical schools.
