Dr Nikhil Sapre

Dr Nikhil Sapre is a highly skilled Urological Surgeon dedicated to providing cutting-edge treatments and compassionate care to patients in the Toowoomba and Darling Downs region. With a wealth of experience and expertise, Dr Sapre aims to understand his patients' concerns thoroughly, make accurate diagnoses, and allow them to make informed decisions about their treatment options.

After completing his urological training across Victoria, Queensland, and New South Wales, Dr Sapre was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS). He offers treatment for all general urological conditions including benign prostatic hyperplasia and kidney stones. His commitment to advancing his skills led him to pursue sub-specialist fellowship training in robotic surgery and urological cancers at the prestigious Guys and St Thomas Hospital in London, United Kingdom. Under the guidance of world-renowned surgeons he honed his expertise in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgical techniques. 

His PhD focused on developing more accurate and less invasive tests for diagnosing and treating prostate and bladder cancers has earned him numerous awards and scholarships and has been presented at both local and international conferences. Additionally, he has contributed to the advancement of urological knowledge through his publications in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters covering prostate, bladder, and kidney cancers, as well as the latest advances in robotic surgery. He is involved in training of junior doctors as well as an examiner with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
