Dr Nicholas Sawyer

Dr Nicholas Sawyer is a dedicated and highly experienced General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. Dr Sawyer believes in the importance of building strong doctor-patient relationships to deliver personalised healthcare solutions that promote long-term well-being.

With a broad scope of practice, Dr Sawyer has developed particular clinical interests in several key areas of primary care. He is highly skilled in managing chronic health conditions, performing minor surgical procedures, and providing specialised travel medicine advice. Additionally, his expertise extends to occupational and environmental health, allowing him to assist patients with work-related health assessments and preventative medicine strategies.

Dr Sawyer completed his medical education at the University of Tasmania, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1983. Following his graduation, he undertook extensive postgraduate training in General Practice in Bristol, England, where he gained valuable international clinical experience. To further enhance his clinical capabilities, he also obtained a Diploma in Occupational and Environmental Health.
