Dr Nathan Ruge

Dr Nathan Ruge is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. His core philosophy in General Practice is centred on ensuring that every patient feels thoroughly listened to and empowered throughout their healthcare journey. He strongly believes that a patient's health journey continues long after they have stepped out of the consultation room, and he strives to build lasting, collaborative relationships to support long-term well-being.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Ruge specialises in managing complex medical conditions that require regular, ongoing care. He is highly skilled in chronic disease management, helping patients navigate and control conditions related to diabetes, respiratory issues, renal health, hormone imbalances, and heart health. Additionally, he is passionate about supporting patients with mental health concerns, addressing sexual and LGBTI health, providing travel medicine advice, and assisting with children's health and supporting new parents.

Dr Ruge holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He completed subspecialty Basic Physician Training in 2016, which provided him with a strong foundation in managing complex medical cases. He then went on to achieve his Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2018, demonstrating his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of general practice care.
