Dr Muhammad Khan

Dr Muhammad Khan is a highly qualified Consultant Psychiatrist who provides compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. He specialises in diagnosing and treating a diverse range of psychiatric conditions in adults. Dr Khan is dedicated to delivering patient-centred care, utilising a holistic biopsychosocial model that addresses the biological, psychological, and social factors influencing a person's well-being. His reassuring and professional approach ensures that patients feel supported throughout their recovery journey.

With extensive expertise in adult mental health, Dr Khan has a particular clinical interest in the assessment and management of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and psychotic disorders. He is also highly skilled in supporting individuals with adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and complex trauma, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). By incorporating up-to-date clinical evidence and tailored therapeutic strategies, he works collaboratively with patients to develop comprehensive treatment plans that promote long-term mental wellness.

Dr Khan obtained his medical degree from the University of Karachi, graduating in 2003. He subsequently relocated to the United Kingdom, where he completed his initial post-graduate training and entered the formal Psychiatry Training Programme. During his time in the UK, he achieved Membership with the Royal College of Psychiatrists and was awarded a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Adult Psychiatry. After working as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the UK, he relocated to Australia, where he attained Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) and is recognised on the Specialist Register.
