Before transitioning into General Practice, Dr Ali Shah gained extensive clinical experience working across a diverse range of medical environments. He spent a significant period working in a major hospital setting, where he developed a broad and robust clinical foundation. His hospital-based work spanned multiple medical specialties, including general medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, geriatric medicine, palliative care, urology, paediatrics, and emergency medicine. This diverse background equips him with the expertise to manage complex medical conditions and provide confident, high-quality care.

Dr Ali Shah completed his medical degree, obtaining his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2005. After practising in Pakistan, he relocated to Australia in 2011 to continue his medical career. Demonstrating his commitment to clinical excellence and ongoing professional development, he was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2022.
