Dr Moheb Salama

Dr Moheb Salama is a dedicated and highly skilled General Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary healthcare. With a patient-focussed approach, Dr Salama is committed to delivering high-quality medical care to individuals and families. He enjoys the diverse nature of general practice, welcoming patients of all ages and backgrounds, and is passionate about preventative medicine and promoting long-term health and wellbeing.

Dr Salama completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Misr University for Science and Technology in 2003. He subsequently undertook postgraduate training at Ain Shams University and gained extensive clinical experience working in various hospitals across Cairo and Alexandria. In 2009, he completed a Master of Science in Surgery, and he later achieved his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2021. Committed to continuous professional development, Dr Salama has also obtained a Diploma of Skin Cancer Surgery, an Advanced Certificate of Dermoscopy, and a Professional Certificate of Dermoscopy.

In his clinical practice, Dr Salama has developed a strong interest in skin cancer detection and treatment, utilising his advanced training in dermoscopy to perform thorough skin checks and minor surgical procedures. His surgical expertise extends to treatments such as lipoma, sebaceous cyst, and ingrowing toenail removals, as well as scar management and sclerotherapy. Additionally, he is highly experienced in chronic disease management, including diabetes and cardiovascular health, paediatric care, sports medicine, and smoking cessation. Dr Salama also provides supportive care in areas such as aged care, palliative care, and adolescent health, including contraceptive procedures like Implanon insertion and removal.
