Dr Mina Kaddis

Dr Mina Kaddis is a Consultant General Surgeon based in Queensland, Australia. His specialist interests include hernia surgery, endoscopy, and the surgical management of melanomas. Outside of these interests, he offers a range of surgeries including lymph node biopsy and clearance, management of non-melanoma skin cancer, laparoscopic surgery for gallbladder pathologies, haemorrhoid management, colonoscopy, portacath insertion and ingrown toenail management. He is also able to perform emergency surgical intervention for appendicitis, abscesses, and gallbladder infections. His clinical approach is kind and empathetic, and he particularly values ensuring that his patients understand all available options to them, including non-surgical approaches where possible. 

Dr Kaddis completed his degree in Medicine in 2012 from Griffith University. Following this, he completed surgical training throughout Australia. He also completed a fellowship year in surgical oncology where he learnt to manage melanoma and skin cancers. He holds multiple professional memberships including Fellowship with the Royal Austalasian College of Surgeons, and is a member of General Surgeons Australia and the ANZ Hernia Society. He additionally trained as an endoscopist and is accredited by Gastroenterological Society of Australia for Endoscopy. With his wide array of surgical experience, Dr Kaddis can diagnose and treat a variety of surgical conditions. He treats everyone he looks after with respect, and adequate time is taken to ensure that the right management plan is designed in collaboration with each patient.
