Dr Michael Yew

Dr Michael Yew is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who specialises in providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a reassuring and professional approach, he focuses on building strong, trusting relationships with his patients to support their long-term health and well-being. Dr Yew believes in a holistic approach to medicine, ensuring that every individual receives personalised care tailored to their unique needs and lifestyle.

Dr Yew obtained his medical degree from the University of Bristol, qualifying in 2010. Following his graduation, he completed his foundation medical training at a major hospital in Birmingham before undertaking his specialist General Practice training with a prominent hospital trust in London. To broaden his clinical expertise, he worked extensively as a General Practitioner in inner-city London and gained further diverse experience as a locum doctor across the Greater London area. He also contributed his skills to a pioneering private general practice service.

Throughout his career, Dr Yew has developed key clinical interests in family health, respiratory medicine, sports injuries, and travel medicine. He is passionate about helping patients manage chronic respiratory conditions and recover from active injuries, as well as providing essential advice for safe international travel. Outside of his medical practice, Dr Yew is an avid runner who regularly competes in marathons and enjoys playing football.
