Dr. Michael Silagy

Dr Michael Silagy is a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who provides compassionate and patient-centred care for women at every stage of life. He obtained his medical degree with honours and completed his specialist training through the Monash and Peninsula Health networks, earning his Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG). He completed advanced training in minimally invasive surgery, specialising in laparoscopic hysterectomies and the surgical management of endometriosis.

Currently, Dr Silagy holds clinical suites across several locations in Melbourne, including Toorak, Malvern, and Brighton. He provides highly personalised obstetric care across all risk categories, with specific expertise in managing high-risk cases such as twin births and vaginal births after caesarean (VBAC).

In addition to his general practice, he maintains a dedicated focus on the intersection of physical performance and reproductive health. He has a special interest in the health of elite female athletes, committing himself to supporting their unique reproductive, hormonal, and training-related healthcare needs.
