Dr Matthew Warburton

Dr Matthew Warburton is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. Dr Warburton believes in addressing the root causes of health issues, combining physical medicine with psychological support to help individuals achieve a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

Dr Warburton obtained his primary medical degree, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), in the United Kingdom, qualifying in medicine in 2001. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and holds membership with the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in the UK. Committed to continuous professional development, he has undertaken advanced postgraduate studies in skin cancer medicine through a leading Australian university and has pursued specialised training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Throughout his career, Dr Warburton has gained extensive clinical experience working in both hospital and general practice settings across the United Kingdom and Australia, including metropolitan and regional areas. He has developed a strong clinical focus on dermatology and skin cancer medicine, encompassing skin cancer detection and surgical procedures. Additionally, he has a deep interest in mental health and psychological medicine, utilising mindfulness-based therapies to assist patients. His diverse medical background also includes experience as a Surgical Assistant in urology and the management of chronic conditions such as diabetes.
