Dr Matthew Peter Sawyer

Dr. Matthew Peter Sawyer is a Melbourne-based Endocrinologist and Diabetes Specialist who also provides consultations in Mildura. He is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care across all aspects of endocrinology, with a focus on improving long-term metabolic health and quality of life for his patients.

Dr. Sawyer began his medical career with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (First Class Honours) from Monash University’s Victorian College of Pharmacy, after which he worked as a pharmacist for several years. He later pursued post-graduate medicine at Deakin University. He went on to complete advanced physician training in endocrinology through Monash Health, Eastern Health, and St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, gaining extensive experience across a broad spectrum of endocrine and metabolic conditions.

Dr. Sawyer’s research has been published in both national and international journals, and he has presented at multiple medical conferences.
