Dr Matthew Ken Parker

Dr Matthew Ken Parker is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality healthcare to individuals and families. With a patient-centred approach, he focuses on delivering personalised medical care that addresses both acute health concerns and long-term wellness. Dr Parker believes in fostering strong, collaborative relationships with his patients, empowering them to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.

Dr Parker completed his Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University before pursuing his medical training. He graduated from Deakin Medical School in 2016 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, during which he gained valuable clinical experience studying in Geelong and Ballarat. To further his professional development, he obtained a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, demonstrating his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of general practice.

Prior to focusing on general practice, Dr Parker gained extensive clinical experience working across a diverse range of medical specialties within the hospital system. His rotations included paediatrics, oncology, surgery, emergency medicine, palliative care, and psychiatry. This broad foundation allows him to confidently manage a wide array of medical conditions, with a particular interest in children's health and preventative medicine. Outside of his clinical work, he enjoys walking his dog and attending stand-up comedy shows.
