Dr Matthew Colin Chenoweth is a dedicated General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care to the local community. Having grown up in the regional area of Warrnambool, he possesses a deep understanding of the unique healthcare needs of regional populations. Dr Chenoweth is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based medical care, ensuring that his patients feel supported and reassured throughout their healthcare journeys.

Dr Chenoweth completed his undergraduate studies at Monash University, where he earned a Bachelor of Biomedical Science. He then went on to pursue his medical training at the University of Melbourne, graduating with a Doctor of Medicine in 2016. Following his graduation, he completed his clinical training as an Intern and Resident at a regional health service in Warrnambool, gaining valuable experience across various medical disciplines.

Prior to focusing on General Practice, Dr Chenoweth worked extensively as an Emergency Department Doctor, where he managed acute medical presentations and developed strong clinical decision-making skills. His primary area of clinical interest is General Medicine, allowing him to manage a diverse range of acute and chronic health conditions. Outside of his medical practice, Dr Chenoweth enjoys hiking and travelling, which helps him maintain a balanced and holistic approach to life and patient care.
