Mrs Maryanne Jacobs

Maryanne Jacobs is a registered Psychologist. Maryanne has both a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Master's Degree in the Psychology of Coaching. They are passionate about assisting individuals and families to identify their strengths and find solutions. This allows their clients to live a more productive and happy life. They have experience working with the long-term effects of childhood trauma as it presents in adulthood. Their clinical approach is informed by training in Solution Focused Therapy, Trauma Informed Care, Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Maryanne believes that understanding their clients' stories and identifying their strengths will help create practical and workable solutions for their lives. Their open and engaging manner helps them to form positive connections with their clients and to develop a trusting relationship. This allows them to work alongside their clients to find the most meaningful way forward.

Maryanne also has a passion for Coaching and Leadership development and has worked in both the Government and Non-Government sectors throughout their career, holding Senior Executive positions in large complex organisations.
