Dr Marnie Buckwell

Dr Marnie Buckwell is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. She strongly believes in the value of continuity of care, focusing on building long-term relationships, rapport, and trust with her patients. Dr Buckwell is inspired by the resilience of her patients and strives to deliver holistic healthcare that addresses each individual's unique needs.

Dr Buckwell obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Melbourne, qualifying in 1996. To further her expertise in global health, she completed a Liverpool Diploma in Tropical Medicine and gained valuable international clinical experience working in a hospital overseas. She holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, demonstrating her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of primary care.

In addition to her broad general practice expertise, Dr Buckwell is a fully qualified medical Acupuncturist. She has a particular interest in women's health and offers evidence-informed medical acupuncture to manage a variety of concerns. Her treatments, which include both traditional needle acupuncture and low-level laser acupuncture, are designed to assist patients experiencing pelvic pain, endometriosis, vulvodynia, painful or heavy periods, premenstrual symptoms, menopause-related concerns, and bladder symptoms.
