Dr Marika Goodman is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care. With a strong background as a Rural Generalist, she has gained diverse clinical experience across Queensland, delivering comprehensive healthcare to regional communities. Her practice is characterised by an empathetic and holistic approach, ensuring that every patient receives individualised support tailored to their unique health journey.

As a versatile medical professional, Dr Goodman has developed advanced skills in several key areas of clinical practice. She has a particular interest in paediatric care and child health, supporting the physical and developmental well-being of younger patients. Additionally, she possesses specialised training in anaesthetics, which enhances her capability in managing acute and procedural medical scenarios. Her clinical focus also extends to lifestyle medicine, where she advocates for preventative care and holistic health strategies to empower patients to achieve long-term wellness.

Dr Goodman completed her medical degree at James Cook University in 2013. She went on to complete her specialist General Practice training in 2020. Committed to continuous professional development, she has obtained a Graduate Diploma in Child Health and a Diploma of Rural General Practice Anaesthesia. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and holds a Fellowship in Advanced Rural General Practice (FARGP). To further expand her expertise, she is also pursuing a Master of Science in Lifestyle Medicine.
