Dr Malki Prematillake

Dr Malki Prematillake is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, holistic, and individualised care to her patients. As an experienced General Practitioner, Dr Prematillake has a particular interest in women's health, offering expert care in areas such as perimenopause and menopause management, menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, endometriosis, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). She is highly skilled in providing contraception advice, including the insertion and removal of intrauterine devices (IUDs) and contraceptive implants. Her clinical expertise also extends to antenatal and postnatal care, family planning, and fertility concerns. Beyond women's health, she enjoys managing all aspects of family medicine, including child and adolescent health, men's health, mental health, chronic disease management, and skin conditions.

Dr Prematillake obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Colombo in 2002. After relocating to Australia, she completed her comprehensive General Practice training and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). To further her expertise in her chosen fields, she completed a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) and a Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG). She is also an active member of the Australasian Menopause Society.
