Dr Lyndia Tan

Dr Lyndia Tan is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, comprehensive care to patients of all ages. She enjoys all areas of medical practice, bringing a reassuring and patient-centred approach to her consultations. With a broad clinical background, Dr Tan focuses on delivering personalised healthcare solutions that support the long-term well-being of her patients.

Dr Tan completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) alongside a Bachelor of Medical Science (B.Med.Sc) at The University of Melbourne, graduating in 2004. During her medical training, she undertook research overseas investigating the effects of malaria in pregnant women. She subsequently completed specialist general practice training and was awarded her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2018.

Prior to entering general practice, Dr Tan gained diverse clinical experience across several medical settings. She worked for several years within local health services and spent time working in a palliative care centre in the United Kingdom. Additionally, she spent a significant period working in a busy metropolitan emergency department, which provided her with a unique and valuable perspective on emergency and critical care.

In her daily practice, Dr Tan welcomes patients with a wide range of health concerns. She has developed a particular clinical interest in women's health, children's health, and weight management. Her extensive training and varied clinical background enable her to manage both acute and chronic conditions with confidence, ensuring her patients receive thorough and supportive care.
