Dr Lwin Mar Thein

Dr Lwin Mar Thein is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages. With a patient-centred approach, she is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare that is tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Dr Thein focuses on fostering long-term relationships with her patients, ensuring they feel supported and reassured throughout their healthcare journey.

Dr Thein completed her medical degree at the University of Medicine 1, Yangon, in 2007. Following her graduation, she relocated to Australia in 2010 to pursue further postgraduate study and clinical training. She was awarded her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2015. To further enhance her clinical expertise, she also obtained a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) and successfully completed a Diploma in General Dermatology in 2016.

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Thein has developed a broad range of clinical interests. She is particularly passionate about Women's Health, Child Health, and geriatric care. Her expertise also extends to dermatology and skin cancer medicine, where she performs skin checks and minor surgical procedures. Additionally, she is highly skilled in chronic disease management, emergency medicine, and family planning, including the insertion and removal of contraceptive devices.
