Louise Read is a compassionate General Psychologist who provides a warm, supportive, and safe space for individuals experiencing emotional and mental health difficulties. Having worked extensively as both a Counsellor and a Provisional Psychologist, she brings a broad range of experience to her clinical practice. Read is dedicated to supporting a diverse clientele across various ages, backgrounds, and cultures, ensuring that each individual feels heard and respected throughout their therapeutic journey.

Her clinical focus encompasses children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a variety of concerns, such as anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, and trauma. Read has a particular passion for working with parents as they navigate the unique challenges of parenthood. Additionally, she enjoys supporting both neurotypical and neurodivergent young people. When working with children under the age of six, she typically incorporates a significant parent-focused component to foster positive family dynamics and support.
