Dr Loretta Weir is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care to the community of Kingscliff. With a reassuring and professional approach, she is committed to delivering high-quality medical services that are tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Dr Weir believes in the importance of building strong, trusting relationships with her patients, ensuring they feel supported and well-informed at every stage of their healthcare journey.

In her clinical practice, Dr Weir focuses on a wide range of medical areas, with a particular interest in preventative care and chronic disease management. She is passionate about helping patients manage long-term health conditions effectively and implementing proactive strategies to support their long-term well-being. Additionally, she maintains a strong focus on aged care, extending her services to local residential aged care facilities to ensure elderly patients receive dedicated and continuous medical attention.

Before pursuing her medical degree, Dr Weir completed a Bachelor of Science at Macquarie University and worked with a prominent national scientific research organisation in Sydney. She subsequently earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with first-class honours from the University of Sydney in 1994. Demonstrating her commitment to clinical excellence, she is also an accredited Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
