Dr Lisa Mifsud

Dr Lisa Mifsud is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care across all stages of life. She is committed to delivering evidence-based medical care in a safe, respectful, and supportive environment, ensuring that her patients feel heard and empowered to make informed decisions about their health. Dr Mifsud enjoys the full breadth of general practice, supporting both men and women through their unique health journeys, with a strong focus on preventive medicine, metabolic health, and mental well-being.

With a particular passion for women's and sexual health, Dr Mifsud offers specialised support in reproductive health, contraception, and family planning. Her clinical expertise encompasses perimenopause and menopause management, as well as the care of conditions such as endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). She provides comprehensive antenatal care, including shared maternity care, preconception counselling, and initial fertility investigations. Additionally, Dr Mifsud is skilled in performing contraceptive procedures, including Implanon NXT and intrauterine device (IUD) insertions, and offers Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi) to help patients improve their sleep patterns.

Dr Mifsud graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours, alongside a Bachelor of Medical Science, from the University of Tasmania in 2010. She completed her postgraduate training across several major health institutions before transitioning to General Practice. Dr Mifsud holds a Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and a Diploma of Child Health. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a Member of the Australian Menopause Society. Deeply committed to medical education, she also serves as a Medical Educator and Supervisor, helping to train the next generation of General Practitioners.
