Dr Lesley Hoy

Dr Lesley Hoy is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive family medicine. With a patient-centred approach, she is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare to individuals and families at every stage of life. Dr Hoy is passionate about preventative medicine and works closely with her patients to promote long-term health and well-being.

Throughout her career, Dr Hoy has developed a diverse range of clinical interests, with a particular focus on women's health. She is highly skilled in managing all aspects of women's health, including menopause management and family planning. Additionally, she is an accredited antenatal shared-care provider, supporting expectant mothers through their pregnancy journeys in collaboration with major metropolitan hospitals. Her clinical expertise also extends to sports medicine and the management of skin diseases, where she enjoys addressing complex dermatological and musculoskeletal challenges.

Dr Hoy obtained her primary medical degree, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, from the University of Otago in 1983, graduating with the prize for general practice. She subsequently completed a postgraduate Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Auckland in 1985. Dr Hoy is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and continuing professional development.
