Dr Leila Omera

Dr Leila Omera is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a holistic approach to general medicine, she focuses on empowering individuals and families to achieve their optimal health and wellbeing. Dr Omera believes in delivering safe, evidence-based treatments tailored to the unique needs of each patient, fostering a reassuring and supportive environment.

Dr Omera completed her medical training and education on the Gold Coast before moving to undertake her General Practitioner Fellowship. Prior to her career in medicine, she established a strong foundation in healthcare by completing a Bachelor of Pharmacy, bringing valuable pharmaceutical expertise to her clinical practice. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Additionally, she holds a Certificate in Women's Health (Cert WH) and is associated with the Sexual Health and Family Planning Australia (SHAFPA) network.

Throughout her career, Dr Omera has developed diverse clinical interests, with a particular focus on women's health and dermatology. Her expertise in women's health encompasses antenatal and postnatal care, perimenopause and menopause management, and specialised procedures such as Mirena removal. She is also highly skilled in skin cancer medicine, offering thorough skin checks and skin cancer management. Driven by a passion for aesthetic medicine, Dr Omera provides innovative anti-ageing and rejuvenating therapies, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments and cosmetic injectables, to help patients look and feel their best. Her broad scope of practice also includes managing sports injuries and performing minor surgical procedures.
