Dr Leesa Walker

Dr Leesa Walker is a dedicated and highly skilled General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a reassuring and professional approach, she is committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of individuals and families. Dr Walker has a broad range of clinical interests, with a particular focus on family planning, sexual health, and medical education. Her clinical practice includes performing minor procedures such as the insertion and removal of intrauterine devices (IUDs) and contraceptive implants, as well as the removal of basic skin lesions.

Dr Walker completed her medical training at Monash University, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1998. Demonstrating her commitment to the highest standards of general practice, she achieved fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Her solid academic foundation and ongoing professional development ensure that her patients receive evidence-based, high-quality medical care.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Walker is deeply involved in medical education and academic leadership. She has served as an Academic Coordinator for a longitudinal integrated clerkship at a leading Australian university, where she helped guide penultimate-year medical students learning from rural doctors in general practice.
