Dr Leanne Drew

Dr Leanne Drew is a dedicated General Practitioner who specialises in skin cancer medicine and surgery. Based in Toowoomba, she is passionate about helping patients with the early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of skin cancers. Dr Drew strongly believes that regular, comprehensive skin checks are vital for maintaining long-term health and can play a life-saving role in identifying concerns early.

Dr Drew obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Otago, graduating in 2005. She completed her General Practice training and was awarded her Fellowship in New Zealand in 2008. She holds Fellowships with both the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP). Committed to continuous professional development, she has also earned a Professional Certificate of Dermoscopy, an Advanced Certificate of Dermoscopy, a Professional Certificate of Skin Cancer Surgery, an Advanced Certificate of Skin Cancer Surgery, and a Professional Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine.

Throughout her career, Dr Drew has developed a particular interest in surgical procedures, specifically focusing on skin cancer surgery and reconstructive techniques such as skin grafts. Her clinical practice encompasses a wide range of services, including spot checks, full-body skin checks, and total body photography. She combines her advanced training in dermoscopy and surgery with a reassuring, patient-centred approach, ensuring that individuals feel supported and well-informed throughout their skin care journey.
