Dr Lawrence Noonan

Dr Lawrence Noonan is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality healthcare to individuals and families. With a patient-centred approach, he focuses on all aspects of General Practice, ensuring that each patient receives personalised and reassuring medical attention. His clinical expertise spans preventative health, chronic disease management, and acute medical care, making him a trusted partner in his patients' long-term health journeys.

Dr Noonan completed his medical education at the University of New South Wales, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Committed to advancing his professional knowledge, he also obtained a Master of Health Planning (MHP) and achieved a Fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). His dedication to excellence in primary care was recognised when he was honoured with the Illawarra GP of the Year Award.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Noonan is deeply passionate about medical education and shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. He serves as a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Wollongong Graduate School of Medicine, where he actively teaches medical students. Furthermore, he contributes his expertise to training future General Practitioners by teaching GP Registrars as part of the GP Synergy General Practice Training Programme.
