Dr Khalid Yousif

Dr Khalid Yousif is a highly accomplished Emergency Medicine Specialist and General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, high-quality medical care. With a diverse clinical background spanning both Australia and New Zealand, he is dedicated to delivering reassuring and professional care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute and chronic health concerns. His dual expertise allows him to seamlessly manage critical emergencies while also addressing the day-to-day healthcare needs of the community.

Throughout his career, Dr Yousif has developed a strong focus on trauma medicine, acute critical care, and both adult and paediatric emergency medicine. He is highly skilled in managing complex clinical situations, stabilising critically ill patients, and co-ordinating multi-disciplinary care. In addition to his clinical practice, he is deeply committed to medical education, serving as a Supervisor and Instructor for candidates pursuing diplomas and certificates in emergency medicine. His leadership in clinical settings ensures that junior medical staff are well-supported and that patient safety remains the highest priority.

Dr Yousif obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) before undertaking extensive postgraduate training in emergency medicine. He successfully achieved fellowship status, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM). He holds full vocational registration with both the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ). An active contributor to the medical community, Dr Yousif has published several original research papers in prominent peer-reviewed publications, including the Emergency Medicine Australasia Journal and the British Medical Journal.
