Dr Keval Pandya

Dr Keval Pandya is an experienced Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist currently seeing patients at Complete Health Australia - Norwest, Norwest Private Hospital, Campbelltown Private Hospital and Minchinbury Community Private Hospital. He also provides consultations at GastroHealth centres in Rouse Hill, Bella Vista, and Oran Park and can facilitate procedures at Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals.

Dr Pandya completed his medical degree at the University of New South Wales with Honours in 2012 followed by his basic physician training and advanced training in gastroenterology at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, a leading tertiary referral centre and liver transplantation unit. He later completed a fellowship year at Blacktown Hospital with a focus on inflammatory bowel disease and therapeutic endoscopy.

Dr Pandya holds a Master's degree in clinical epidemiology from the University of Sydney and actively engages in clinical research, contributing to several publications in peer-reviewed medical journals. He has presented at numerous national and international conferences and actively teaches.

Dr Pandya is also certified by GESA as a provider in diagnostic and therapeutic adult gastroscopy and colonoscopy. He has expertise in several endoscopic procedures, including cancer screening, management of upper and lower gastrointestinal bleeding, variceal banding and glue ligation, dilatation of strictures (oesophageal, pyloric, colonic, and ileal), thermal therapy for angioectasia and radiation proctitis, polypectomy, and percutaneous gastrostomy tube insertion.

Dr also has expertise in the diagnosis and management of various conditions, including iron deficiency anaemia, oesophageal disorders (reflux disease, eosinophilic oesophagitis, and motility disorders), dyspepsia, irritable bowel syndrome, coeliac disease, ulcerative colitis, and Crohn’s disease. His specific interest lies in acute and chronic liver disease, including non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, viral hepatitis, and decompensated cirrhosis.
