Dr Stanwell completed her medical degree at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, graduating in 1979. To further her expertise in maternal health, she travelled to England, where she obtained a Diploma of Obstetrics. Before establishing her practice in Lismore, she gained valuable clinical experience working across the Hunter region. Her diverse training and background enable her to deliver high-quality, evidence-based medical care to the local community.
