Dr Kayley Baxter

Dr Kayley Baxter is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive healthcare to patients of all ages. Born and raised in North Queensland, she is deeply committed to supporting the health and well-being of her local community. Dr Baxter is known for her reassuring and professional approach, ensuring that every patient receives personalised care tailored to their unique medical needs.

Dr Baxter completed her medical education at James Cook University, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2010. Following her graduation, she gained valuable clinical experience working across various locations in North Queensland, including Townsville and Atherton, before settling in Cairns. In 2015, she was awarded her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting her high standard of clinical expertise and dedication to the field of General Practice.

In her daily practice, Dr Baxter focuses on delivering high-quality family medicine. She has a particular clinical interest in women's health and child health, including childhood immunisations. Her holistic approach to patient care emphasises preventative medicine and health education, helping families navigate their healthcare journeys with confidence. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys baking, craft projects, and spending time outdoors with her family.
