Dr Kavya George is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. She enjoys all aspects of general practice and values the opportunity to build long-term, longitudinal relationships with her patients. With a reassuring and professional approach, Dr George supports individuals and families through all stages of life, combining her clinical expertise with a warm, empathetic manner.

Before focusing on community-based care, Dr George gained extensive experience working across a diverse range of hospital settings in Queensland and Victoria. Her broad clinical background spans several key medical disciplines, including Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Psychiatry, Oncology, Emergency Medicine, and General Medicine. This diverse hospital experience has equipped her with a robust foundation to manage complex medical presentations and deliver high-quality primary care.

Dr George holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and completed her specialist General Practice training in Eastern Victoria. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice. Dr George continuously updates her medical knowledge to ensure her patients receive evidence-based and up-to-date treatments.

In her daily practice, Dr George has developed special interests in several key areas of healthcare. She is highly skilled in women's health, offering services such as cervical screening tests, as well as the insertion and removal of both Mirena and Implanon contraceptive devices. Additionally, she provides comprehensive children's health services, chronic disease management, skin cancer checks, minor skin procedures, and iron infusions, ensuring a holistic approach to her patients' well-being.
