Dr Katy Simpson

Dr Katy Simpson is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad clinical focus, she is committed to supporting patients through all stages of their health journeys. Dr Simpson has developed a particular interest in women's health, sexual and reproductive health, contraception, paediatrics, and mental health. Her reassuring and empathetic approach ensures that patients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make informed decisions about their well-being.

Originally from Scotland, Dr Simpson gained valuable clinical experience working across diverse medical settings before relocating to Australia. Her early career included working within busy accident and emergency departments as well as dedicated paediatric facilities in the United Kingdom. This diverse background has equipped her with a robust set of skills to manage both acute and chronic conditions. She enjoys all aspects of family medicine, delivering holistic care tailored to the unique needs of each individual.

Dr Simpson completed her medical degree at the University of Edinburgh, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) in 2013. She subsequently relocated to London, where she completed her postgraduate training to qualify as a General Practitioner. Dr Simpson holds a Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (DFSRH) and is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP).
